President Gitanas Nausėda stated on Tuesday that incidents in Lithuania's airspace only prove that the country is entering a dangerous world where peace is no longer a given.

According to him, Lithuania is a target that is constantly being hit by large or small arrows, hostile forces have been testing the vigilance and resilience of the country for years, and the hybrid war has been ongoing for more than a decade.

"We are rapidly entering a new dangerous world where peace is no longer a given," said Nausėda while delivering his annual report in the Seimas.

"Today we must acknowledge that the environment surrounding Lithuania is changing rapidly, and we must change along with it," he added.

In recent months, there have been incidents in the Baltic countries where military drones crossed the airspace of the countries and exploded on their territory. There have been no casualties so far.

As reported by bb.lv, Nausėda demands that Lithuania remains Lithuanian.
