Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that after the end of the war, the country is set for large-scale recovery and economic growth. According to him, it is the youth and entrepreneurs who will become the main force behind future changes.
"Ukraine will legally be part of the European Union, markets will be opened, all of this will be one hundred percent for such a territorially large country with opportunities, and which is not yet in the European Union, but is approaching European standards faster than anyone else," said the president.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that after the war ends, the country will have great opportunities for development, and the youth will be able to play a key role in the recovery of the economy. He shared this during the talk show "Home is Better."
According to Zelensky, competition in Ukraine has decreased at the moment, but after the war, a large-scale economic upturn will begin.
"Those who were here have a better chance to start their own business and then rise significantly," the president noted.
He emphasized that the country's recovery will attract investments, new businesses, and international projects. Furthermore, Ukraine, according to him, is gradually moving towards full integration into the European Union.
Zelensky thanked young Ukrainians who are returning to the country or staying in it during the war, noting that after the end of hostilities, many people will return home and will be needed by the state.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who also participated in the program, spoke about the current opportunities for youth. According to her, young people can participate in government programs, youth councils under the Office of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as receive grants to start their own businesses.
In addition, Ukraine has career guidance and mentoring programs, and starting in September, the maximum amount of grant support for novice entrepreneurs will increase to 300,000 hryvnias.
Ukrainian authorities are betting on youth and private business as the foundation for the post-war recovery of the country. In Kyiv, they hope that the return of people, investments, and the development of entrepreneurship will help Ukraine go through the recovery period faster and create new economic opportunities.
