The Titanic exhibition at the Volo Museum in Chicago was flooded on the anniversary of the ship's sinking. This was reported by ABC7 Chicago, noting that the museum has experienced flooding for the second time in 40 years.
The marketing director of the Volo Museum, Jim Woidyla, finds any flooding of Titanic exhibits quite strange.
"The fact that we were flooded exactly on the anniversary of the sinking is not just irony; it’s almost paranormal," Woidyla is convinced.
Museum staff took measures to protect the exhibits and artifacts on display. Among them are fashionable items, works of art, and cars belonging to the ship's passengers. Their total value exceeds $6 million.
