Two Vessels Hit in the Strait of Hormuz

The others are turning back to Oman.

Iranian authorities have once again announced the closure of the strait on April 18, and actions have followed the words. Two vessels have been hit, reports Reuters.

Additionally, about 20 vessels have been forced to turn back towards Oman.

There is currently no information on the damaged vessels, the extent of the destruction, or whether there are any casualties.

Iran has closed the strait again amid the U.S. 'blockade'. Authorities in Tehran have labeled America's behavior as piracy and have terminated the agreement that allowed passage through the strait, which had pleased Donald Trump.
