The scheduled visit of Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene to Spain this coming weekend will not take place.
The prime minister's business trip to Spain will not take place due to canceled and delayed flights, her advisor Ignas Dobrovolskas reported on Friday.
Ruginiene was scheduled to visit Barcelona from April 17 to 19. On Saturday, she was set to participate in the fourth summit of countries "In Defense of Democracy," where she would meet with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Ruginiene also planned to take part in the event "Global Progressive Mobilization."
As reported by BNS, at the end of March, the prime minister announced her intention to discuss with Sanchez, among other things, Madrid's decision to close its airspace to American planes conducting missions against Iran.
