TWZ: The U.S. has organized a rescue operation for F-15E pilots in Iran.
Unconfirmed statements from Iranian sources and images that have appeared online suggest that U.S. military forces may have organized a special operation to rescue pilots from a downed two-seat F-15E fighter jet in Iran. This is reported by the portal TWZ.
"The available images indicate the use of a C-130 aircraft and an H-60 Black Hawk helicopter," the publication states.
According to the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle," the C-130 aircraft and H-60 Black Hawk helicopter are being covered by F-35A fighters, supported by MQ-9A reconnaissance drones. "The situation has further complicated following reports of direct clashes on the ground," the publication writes.
Previously, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported the destruction of a second U.S. fifth-generation F-35 fighter jet.
According to TWZ, Iran, judging by the debris demonstrated by Tehran, shot down not an F-35, but a fourth-generation F-15E of the U.S. Air Force. The portal noted that "the photographs appear authentic and certainly correspond to parts of the F-15E, including one of the vertical stabilizers, as well as parts of the wing and tail assembly."
