Iran Continues to Shell Gulf Countries

On Saturday, Iran attacked several Gulf countries with drones and missiles, causing destruction, LETA reports citing DPA and AFP.

In Abu Dhabi, several fires broke out due to debris from intercepted ballistic missiles, local media report. Six people were injured.

One injured person is also reported in Oman, where two drones were directed towards the main port of Salalah in the west of the country.

As a result of the incident, a foreign worker was injured, and minor damage was caused to a crane, the Oman News Agency ONA reports.

The Kuwaiti News Agency KUNA reports that the airport in the capital of Kuwait was attacked by several drones, but no people were harmed. However, the airport's radar system sustained significant damage.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Defense, a ballistic missile targeting the area of the capital Riyadh was intercepted and destroyed at night. Three drones were also shot down, officials reported.

The Iranian army stated on Saturday that it struck a warehouse of a Ukrainian drone countermeasure system in the United Arab Emirates, which, according to Iran, was used to support U.S. forces.

"Since the targets were the shelters of American commanders and military personnel in Dubai, a warehouse of the Ukrainian drone countermeasure system located in Dubai was destroyed," the statement from Iran's central operational command said.
