The U.S. named Russia, Iran, and China as countries posing a threat.

The U.S. intelligence community has released a report listing five countries that pose the greatest threat to Washington in terms of national security.

In a special report for 2026, these countries are identified as China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and Pakistan. American intelligence claims that these states are conducting research and development of missile systems with nuclear and conventional warheads capable of striking U.S. territory.

In addition to nuclear threats, the report also notes that China, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, and Russia, despite the proliferation of strike drones, will prioritize advanced missiles, which Washington believes could pose a threat to the U.S.

Earlier, Iran promised the U.S. an unprecedented response in the event of an attempt to seize Hark Island. "If the U.S. carries out its threats of military aggression against Hark Island, they will certainly face a response that will be unprecedented compared to the 'surprises' of the last 21 days," a source told the agency.
