In the Polish capital, the first step has been taken to limit the hours of alcohol sales in stores.
In Warsaw, starting from June 2026, there will be a ban on the sale of alcohol during nighttime hours. The city council made the corresponding decision, as reported by Polish Radio today.
According to the new regulation, alcohol will not be available for purchase in stores and gas stations from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The restrictions apply to the entire territory of the city. However, the ban will not apply to restaurants, bars, and food service establishments, where alcohol can still be ordered at night.
