Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky offered assistance to the Middle East in combating drones in exchange for a ceasefire with Russia. This was reported by Bloomberg.
He proposed to send his best experts on downing Iranian drones to the Middle East if the region's leaders convince Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to a month-long ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
“I would suggest the following: the leaders of the Middle East have excellent relations with the Russians. They can ask the Russians to declare a month-long ceasefire,” noted the Ukrainian leader.
It was previously reported that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer asked Ukraine to assist the Gulf countries in repelling attacks from Iran. According to him, London plans to involve Ukrainian experts to shoot down Iranian drones.
Before this, Zelensky urged the US to “show determination” and continue strikes against Iran. “It is important that this chance for change for Iran is used correctly,” he said.
