Rishi Sunak has become an advisor to Zelensky on the economic recovery of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak as his advisor. This is reported by The Independent.
"Rishi Sunak has begun advising the Ukrainian government on economic recovery as Kyiv hopes to restore its energy sector by next winter," the publication states.
It is specified that Sunak will provide free consultations. The international group, of which the former UK Prime Minister is a part, plans to help Ukraine attract investments in the defense sector and "strengthen the energy resilience" of the republic.
