According to the results of 2025, France maintained its first place in the ranking of the most popular countries in international tourism. Hosting 102 million foreign guests, the country set a new record for the number of foreign tourists visiting it, reported the International French Radio.
Tourism industry revenues have once again increased—by almost ten percent to 77.5 billion euros. These encouraging figures were achieved in fierce competition with Spain, which threatens to catch up with its northern neighbors in the ranking of the most visited countries by tourists.
