U.S. President Donald Trump called for the arrest of former leader Barack Obama over fabricated accusations of collusion with Russia against him.
The corresponding post appeared on his page on the social network Truth Social last Thursday. It concerns the 2016 election, in which Trump won for the first time. At that time, Obama allegedly provided confirmation that Russia interfered in the electoral process to ensure his victory.
According to Trump, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard published "hundreds of sensational documents on the Russian case," confirming that Obama personally ordered CIA agents to fabricate false accusations against his political opponent. The U.S. president accused the former White House chief of attempting a coup along with his accomplices and stated that he must be held accountable for his actions. "It's time for people to pay for this: arrest Obama now," Trump concluded.
Earlier, Trump accused the UN of inaction regarding conflict resolution.
