An attack has been carried out on the home of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance in his home state of Ohio, resulting in damaged windows in the building. This was reported by CNN.
"Photos published by local media showed damage to the windows of the house. A Secret Service representative stated that an adult male, whose identity has not been established, was detained for causing property damage, including breaking windows on the facade of a private residence related to [J.D.] Vance," the channel notes.
It is specified that Vance and his family were not home at the time of the incident.
On December 23, NBC reported that most participants of the annual conference of U.S. conservatives AmericaFest supported American Vice President J.D. Vance as the Republican candidate for the next elections. According to the survey results, 84 percent of the surveyed conference participants support Vance as the successor to U.S. President Donald Trump in the upcoming elections. The Vice President also received public support from Erika Kirk.
