By the end of 2025, the wealth of the richest Russians increased by $23.8 billion. This is reported with reference to its own calculations based on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) data.
The most successful last year was Alisher Usmanov, a shareholder of Russia's largest iron ore producer, Metalloinvest, who became $6.04 billion richer. By the end of the year, the value of his assets was estimated at $19.3 billion.
Next is Iskander Mahmudov, the founder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK) — plus $4.75 billion. Considering that his wealth reached $7.88 billion, he became more than twice as rich in 2025. In third place with an increase of $3.38 billion ($14.4 billion) is Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram.
The largest losses among the richest Russians were suffered by Mikhail Friedman, who lives in London. His wealth decreased by $4.7 billion, to $10.1 billion.
