The U.S. Will Lift Sanctions on One Sector of Belarus 0 9

U.S. Special Envoy to Belarus John Cole stated that the United States is lifting sanctions on Belarusian potash. His words were reported by the BelTA agency.

"In accordance with the president's instructions, we are lifting sanctions on potash. This is a very good move by the U.S. As relations normalize, more sanctions will be lifted," Cole said during negotiations with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

The diplomat also expressed hope that in the future, the parties will reach a situation where there will be no sanctions from the United States at all.
