Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that his negotiations with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin were successful. His words were reported by NTV channel.
According to Erdogan, he had a "successful, productive, comprehensive conversation" with Putin in Ashgabat. During the meeting, the Turkish leader told his Russian counterpart that he is expecting him for a visit "at any moment."
"Therefore, we agreed that we need to meet as soon as possible. He replied: 'I will keep my promise,'" Erdogan said.
