"Strana.ua": about 70% of Kyiv is left without electricity.
About 70 percent of Kyiv is without electricity due to emergency outages. This was reported by the publication "Strana.ua."
"Approximately 70 percent of Kyiv is currently without light (...). Emergency outages have been introduced across the country," the message states.
The publication "Insider UA" also reported that more than half of the city is without power; however, the Ukrainian energy company "Ukrenergo" stated that the volume of outages in the Ukrainian capital does not exceed 50 percent of consumers.
Earlier, residents of a village in the Kyiv region blocked traffic on the road due to the lack of electricity in their homes. According to the UNIAN agency, after this, the Ukrainian energy company DTEK promised to restore electricity within two hours.
