In particular, he noted that the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Energy cannot remain in their positions.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the cleansing and reboot of the management of the State Enterprise 'Energoatom' and sanctions against two individuals involved in the anti-corruption case of the NABU.
He stated this in a video address. "The Minister of Justice and the Minister of Energy cannot remain in their positions. This is a matter of trust as well. If there are accusations, they must be answered. The decision to suspend them from office is operational, the quickest. I have asked the Prime Minister to ensure that these ministers submit their resignations. I urge the members of the Verkhovna Rada to support these resignations," the head of state said.
Furthermore, according to him, everything should be resolved in the legal sphere.
At the same time, Zelensky added that there will also be a decision from the National Security and Defense Council regarding sanctions based on the Cabinet of Ministers' proposal.
"It is extremely difficult for everyone in Ukraine right now. Going through power outages, 'Russian' strikes, losses. It is absolutely abnormal that there are still some schemes in the energy sector," the president emphasized.
In addition, Zelensky mentioned that he would sign a decree on the imposition of sanctions against two individuals involved in the NABU case concerning 'Energoatom'.
According to 'Economic Truth', this concerns the imposition of sanctions against Timur Mindich and Alexander Tsukerman.

As reported by UNIAN, the NABU and SAP exposed a criminal organization that included officials, politicians, and businessmen. They created a large-scale corruption scheme to influence the State Enterprise 'Energoatom'. Subsequently, the Bureau published part of the recordings related to this case. Individuals with the nicknames: 'Carlson', 'Professor', 'Tenor', and 'Rocket' are mentioned. It later became known that businessman Timur Mindich (nickname 'Carlson'), Minister of Justice and former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko (nickname 'Professor'); Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security of the State Enterprise 'Energoatom' Dmytro Basov ('Tenor'); former advisor to ex-Minister of Energy Halushchenko Ihor Mironyuk ('Rocket') are involved in this scheme.
Today, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) chose a preventive measure for the case participant Dmytro Basov (nickname 'Tenor') in the form of detention for 60 days. A bail of 40 million UAH has also been set. The bail can be paid by Basov himself or by another individual or legal entity into the HACC's deposit account.
