Dozens injured: two trains collided in Slovakia

Several dozen people were injured in western Slovakia on Sunday as a result of the collision of two trains, with 11 of them taken to the hospital, LETA reports citing AFP.

About 800 people were on the trains, and the accident occurred 20 kilometers north of the capital Bratislava.

Most of the injured have minor injuries; however, 11 people were hospitalized in Bratislava, said Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok.

The express train "Tatras," traveling on the route Košice–Bratislava, collided with a regional express heading from the capital to Nitra.
