Russian occupiers are advancing in the eastern Zaporizhia region, where they have managed to take control of the village of Uspenovka. This is reported by the monitoring project DeepState.

Uspenovka is located north of the important district center Hulyaipole. In this section of the front, the Russians also advanced near the settlements of Zlahoda, Sladke, and Okhotnyche.

Additionally, it is reported that the enemy advanced near the settlement of Stepna Novoselivka, which is east of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.

Problems in eastern Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk

As reported by UNIAN, Ukrainian military personnel and analysts have repeatedly stated that the most problematic section of the front is not Pokrovsk, which has drawn the main attention, but the east of Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. There, the invaders have the highest rates of advancement among all front directions.

In particular, the DeepState project calculated that in October, only 16% of all battles on the front occurred in the Novopavlivka-Hulyaipole area, but this section accounts for 69% of the territories occupied by the Russians over the month.
