US President Donald Trump expressed doubts about the start of military actions in Venezuela. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
"The [US president's] administration is still deciding whether to remove Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from power or to seek concessions from him," the newspaper writes.
At the same time, as high-ranking sources from the publication indicate, Trump fears that "strikes may not force the autocrat to resign."
Earlier, The New York Times reported that the Trump administration is considering three possible scenarios for a military operation against Venezuela to achieve Maduro's removal from power.
