"Degenerate Leaked Landing Site." Ukrainian Special Forces on Black Hawks Shot Down by Drones

The special forces of the GUR were destroyed near Pokrovsk on the American Black Hawk helicopter.

Near the encircled Pokrovsk in Donbas, an elite Ukrainian special forces unit was destroyed. They had landed in the area from Black Hawk helicopters and were immediately struck by drones. Reuters reported that the operation was personally led by the head of the GUR, Kyrylo Budanov.

Footage of the alleged destruction of the special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) on the western outskirts of Pokrovsk was also confirmed by Ukrainian OSINT analysts. They noted that they identified locations (including a gas station) where the Ukrainian military landed from a UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter.

The footage shows the landing of troops from the helicopter, while others display strikes on the troops from FPV drones. The strikes were carried out by fighters from the Russian occupation grouping of troops "Center." There are also videos in Telegram channels showing two Black Hawks flying towards Pokrovsk before the landing. The two helicopters were filmed as two groups of Ukrainian special forces disembarked. The Black Hawks flew at an extremely low altitude to avoid fire from anti-aircraft missile systems.

The Economist journalist Oliver Carroll reported that the purpose of the landing was to unblock key supply lines. According to other sources, the destroyed part of the special forces group was supposed to unblock Ukrainian units in several areas of Pokrovsk.

The Ukrainian publication "Strana.ua" quoted the words of Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov, who stated that the destruction of the special forces could have occurred after a "leak" of the landing video.

"The problem is that one degenerate sent the video to another degenerate, and a third one leaked the fact of the landing, the landing site, and created demand for the destruction of the special forces and a hunt for these helicopters," noted Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov.

He also hoped that the published video would not go unnoticed and that those responsible for the leak would be held accountable.
