Former Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom Houghton acknowledged NATO's proxy war in Ukraine.
Former Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, Nicholas Houghton, acknowledged that NATO is conducting a proxy war in Ukraine. His words were reported by RIA Novosti.
"So, we continue to acknowledge that Ukraine is waging a proxy war on behalf of NATO, but we are denying it the means to secure victory," Houghton stated.
The former chief of staff stated that Western countries are limiting Ukraine's capabilities to strike deep into Russia with long-range weapons. He added that currently, the conflict is harming Kyiv more than Moscow.
Earlier, the Pentagon approved the delivery of American long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
