The Wall Street Journal reported that the United States is ready to provide Ukraine with intelligence for the first time to carry out missile strikes on energy facilities in Russia. According to sources from the publication, the possibility of supplying long-range missiles, including Tomahawk and Barracuda, is also being discussed.
Ukraine may receive American Tomahawk missiles with limited range. This opinion was expressed by retired Captain 1st Rank, military-political analysis expert Vladimir Eranoyan.
"These will not be long-range missiles that fly 2,500 kilometers, but, for example, the first modification missiles — Block I. Their range is already significantly less," he believes.
According to him, these missiles can be adapted to the Mk 41 missile defense systems that Poland and Romania possess.
The platforms for launching the missiles can be easily modified and delivered along with the missiles from the United Kingdom, Eranoyan added.
Meanwhile, Russia attacked a railway station in the Shostka community in the Sumy region. The enemy struck a passenger train on the Shostka-Kyiv route. Passengers were injured.

In the near future, a new combined missile-drone strike on Ukraine's energy and gas infrastructure facilities is possible.
