Tried her hand at being a fighter pilot. Kate Middleton visited a military base and revealed the prince's dream.
Princess of Wales Catherine visited the RAF Coningsby military base in Lincolnshire, where she interacted with pilots and tried her hand at being a Typhoon fighter pilot.
This is reported by People.
The RAF Coningsby base is home to a quick reaction squadron tasked with protecting the airspace of the United Kingdom.
Catherine met with pilots, technical teams, and their families, thanked them for their dedicated service, and inquired about their everyday living conditions. She also had the opportunity to observe the crew's work during a demonstration alert.

In addition, the Princess of Wales toured the Typhoon fighter and the Typhoon Future Synthetic Training center, where pilots are trained. Catherine was allowed to try flying the aircraft on a training simulator.
During a conversation with the families of service members, the princess admitted that her children, especially her sons George and Louis, were upset that she did not take them with her.
She also shared that Prince Louis dreams of becoming a pilot.
“I will tell them that it (becoming a pilot) will take eight years and a lot of hard work,” Catherine said in a conversation with the base's business support staff member Joe Sweeney.
Last year, it was reported that Prince George took his first flight with an instructor. Kate Middleton and Prince William watched him from a base in Berkshire.
Members of the royal family have a long-standing love for flying — Prince William was a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force search and rescue service. Prince Harry was an Apache helicopter pilot during his military service. Prince Philip also loved to fly. George took his first flight at the same base where Prince Philip trained.
