Corn in Milk: A Recipe That Will Surprise Everyone

This recipe will turn a yellow ear into a true culinary masterpiece.

 

For many, this beloved dish will reveal a new flavor that may become the very best.

Ingredients for Preparation

You will need 6 ears of corn, which should be unpeeled and in their husks. When choosing corn, remember: the younger it is, the tastier and sweeter it will be.

In addition to corn, you will also need 400 ml of milk, 150 g of natural butter, 1 tbsp of sugar, and salt. For cooking, you will need a pot with a capacity of 3-5 liters and kitchen tongs.

Remove the husks from the corn and rinse them well. Do not throw away the husks; wash them and keep them for boiling.

Place the husks in the pot, then add the ears of corn, pour in 3 liters of water, add 1 tbsp of sugar and 1 tsp of salt. Put it on the heat and bring to a boil.

After boiling, add 400 ml of milk, stir slightly, and bring to a boil again. After the second boiling, add the butter and reduce the heat so that the liquid simmers gently.

Young corn is boiled for 10-15 minutes, while mature ears are boiled for 30-40 minutes. During the cooking process, turn the ears and ensure they are fully submerged in the liquid.
