Windows 11 has started opening the Edge browser at every computer startup.

Windows 11 has started opening the Microsoft Edge browser at every system startup. This was reported by Windows Central.

Journalists noted that Microsoft has begun testing a new feature in Windows 11. After one of the OS updates, users complained that they were attacked by the Edge browser. The internet application began to open every time the computer was started.

It turned out that when the device is powered on and the desktop loads, Edge launches and opens the start window. The browser will automatically appear every time the computer is started unless the user sees and clicks the 'No, thanks' button.

"It is unclear whether this feature is enabled only if Edge is set as the default browser," the journalists observed. According to them, Microsoft is testing the option on a small number of users, and it is still unclear what this will lead to. This innovation was also not described in the documentation for any of the new versions of Windows.
