The authors of the media stated that Apple primarily releases smartphones in the premium segment and suggested that users consider purchasing a used iPhone. The first advantage of such a step they named was savings. Experts explained that, for example, for the price of a regular new iPhone, one can buy a used Pro model — it is made from expensive materials, has a powerful chip, a telephoto lens, and better battery life.
Another reason to buy a used device, the journalists noted, is rationality. They pointed out that iPhones from neighboring generations hardly differ from each other, despite Apple's assurances. Therefore, it is possible to buy smartphones released a year or two ago. Additionally, the saved funds can be directed towards purchasing useful phone accessories — smartwatches or headphones.
The article also states that by purchasing a used gadget, consumers positively impact the environment and even improve their psychological health. "Giving up the desire to buy the latest technology can make you a truly happy person," the journalists concluded.
