Blogger Brownlee called the lack of stability a problem for Windows laptops.

Popular blogger Marques Brownlee, who has nearly 21 million subscribers, described a key issue with Windows laptops. The video was published on the author's YouTube channel.

Brownlee reminded that recently Apple introduced a cheap MacBook Neo based on an iPhone chip. The blogger stated that the $600 laptop (50,000 rubles) has virtually no competitors in the market because all available Windows models have the same shortcomings.

The key problem of portable personal computers (PCs), the expert noted, is the lack of optimization and stability. According to him, Apple makes a good product because it manufactures the hardware, processor, and operating system (OS) itself. Competitors may have powerful hardware, but, for example, Windows with its problems "breaks the feeling of premium quality."

As an example, Marques Brownlee mentioned the Dell XPS 14 — an excellent laptop on Windows, in his opinion. However, during the first launch, the blogger spent 45 minutes setting up the OS. In the $2000 device (165,000 rubles), the YouTuber found a pop-up advertisement for McAfee antivirus, and Windows began to impose artificial intelligence (AI) features on him.

Brownlee concluded that Windows laptops are still needed, despite Apple's superiority. For example, Mac computers perform worse in video games.
