On the Progress MS-33 spacecraft after launch from Baikonur, one of the two antennas of the Kurs automatic approach system did not deploy as planned, NASA reports.
"Roscosmos" will continue troubleshooting the antenna. If the antenna cannot deploy, Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov will manually control the spacecraft for approach and docking using the TORU (Teleoperator Control Mode) system," NASA wrote.
According to the space agency, the other systems on the spacecraft are functioning properly.
The Progress MS-33 cargo spacecraft from Roscosmos successfully entered orbit and is heading to the ISS after launching on a Soyuz rocket from the launch site in Kazakhstan, NASA reports.
The Progress MS-33 will deliver about 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS, including water and food for the crew.
