A New Documentary Confirms That Hitler Had a Micro Penis

The film "Hitler's DNA: Blueprint of a Dictator" is set to air in the UK this weekend and apparently validates the famous British wartime song that mocked the Nazi dictator.

"Hitler has only one ball / The other is in the Albert Hall / His mother, dirty bastard / Cut it off when Hitler was small."

This is how a British wartime ditty, sung to the tune of "Colonel Bogey's March," goes. A new documentary set to air in the UK this weekend apparently lends the song additional weight.

In the Channel 4 documentary "Hitler's DNA: Blueprint of a Dictator," DNA specialist Professor Turi King analyzes samples extracted from a bloodstain found on the fabric of the sofa where Hitler took his own life.

The scientist was unable to obtain fresh DNA samples from any of Hitler's surviving relatives in Austria and the USA, and the samples he obtained from the bloodstain were compared to a DNA swab from a male relative of Hitler, previously collected by Belgian journalist Jean-Paul Mulders and historian Mark Vermeeren. The analysis yielded a perfect match on the Y chromosome and showed that Hitler carried a mutation in the PROK2 gene.

This mutation is closely associated with Kallmann syndrome—a genetic condition that can lead to delayed puberty and, in some cases, a micro penis. The mutation also typically results in one or both testicles not developing normally, supporting rumors that the Nazi dictator was missing a testicle.

Discussing the study's findings, King said in an interview with BBC Radio 4: "I have wonderful colleagues at the Pasteur Institute who found that he has a deletion in a gene that we know is strongly associated with a condition known as Kallmann syndrome, characterized by low testosterone levels, abnormal development of the genitalia, and in 5–10% of cases—a micro penis."

Elsewhere in the documentary, it is reported that genetic markers indicate that Hitler had a tendency toward antisocial behavior and that he was not of Jewish descent, debunking a persistent myth.

Hitler's father, Alois, was an illegitimate child, and due to uncertainty regarding the identity of his father, a conspiracy theory arose suggesting that the dictator's grandfather was Jewish.
