The ultra-lightweight Haier W3 exoskeleton with AI and non-Newtonian liquid materials has been unveiled

Haier has introduced the Haier W3 robotic exoskeleton weighing just 1.75 kilograms.

Haier has introduced a robotic exoskeleton with artificial intelligence. The Haier W3 model is made from carbon fiber and titanium alloy, equipped with artificial intelligence, and utilizes non-Newtonian liquid materials to protect joints and reduce impact loads.

A non-Newtonian fluid is a fluid whose viscosity changes depending on the speed of its mixing or the force applied to it. Unlike water or oil, it becomes solid upon sudden impact or compression, but behaves like a regular liquid when acted upon slowly.

This device is equipped with a 3.0 version AI gait analysis algorithm and has built-in multidimensional sensors that allow it to determine the user's intentions regarding movements in milliseconds.

Furthermore, the Haier W3 can intelligently adapt to 12 types of everyday sports scenarios, automatically switching and selecting the optimal assistance mode.

Developers believe that such exoskeletons could represent a new stage in the development of personal robotic technologies. Due to their lightweight, intelligent movement analysis system, and adaptability to various activity scenarios, these devices are gradually approaching mass use—from sports and rehabilitation to everyday assistance for people under physical loads.
