Chinese developers continue to amaze.
The Chinese company Booster Robotics, which manufactures high-tech humanoid robots, has introduced a new model of the humanoid robot K1.
The presentation took place in the capital of China, Beijing. The robot played soccer and also demonstrated Michael Jackson's famous dance move – the moonwalk. In addition, K1 watered flowers and helped its owner find lost apartment keys.
The robot stands about one meter tall and weighs 20 kilograms. According to the company, the continuous operating time of the robot under maximum load reaches 30 hours. The model has high mobility and artificial intelligence performance indicators.
The price in the Chinese market is about 30,000 yuan (approximately four thousand dollars). Sales have already begun.
According to Booster Robotics CEO Cheng Hao, the company pays special attention to the international market and develops cooperation with educational institutions in various countries around the world.
"We are rapidly expanding our presence in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, demonstrating rapid growth. We have specialists responsible for the markets of Russia and Europe," he noted.
Booster Robotics was founded in Beijing in 2023. The company's main products are the humanoid robot models K1 and T1. The K1 robot is designed for educational purposes and home use, while the T1 is intended for research purposes.
The company's robots also participate in soccer competitions among humanoid robots. In July of this year, they took first place at the RoboCup soccer world championship in Brazil.
