Elon Musk stated that he wants to control an army of Tesla robots.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that he wants to control an army of robots. This was reported by Electrek.

During a Tesla conference call regarding the third-quarter report, Musk expressed his concerns about his future in the company. According to him, he needs more influence over processes if Tesla creates an army of robots.

"How much money and control will I get at Tesla if I build this huge army of robots, will I be fired in the future?" the entrepreneur asked shareholders. Electrek journalists noted that initially, Elon Musk stated that he wanted to 'control' the Optimus robots, having more weight in Tesla, but then he corrected himself and clarified that he meant 'strong influence' and the ability to manage humanoids.

Elon Musk's statement is related to the Tesla board's proposal to grant the company’s CEO a record compensation of $1 trillion in stock. Musk is already the largest shareholder of Tesla but could further strengthen his position in the corporation.

In conclusion, Electrek journalists expressed concern that if Tesla does manage to create an army of robots, it will be under the control of one person.
