Fans will release a Russian voiceover for the Ukrainian game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

The popular game from the Ukrainian studio S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be released with a Russian voiceover. This was reported by the PlayGround portal.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was released on November 20, 2024. The game features Ukrainian and English voiceovers, while the Russian language is only available in subtitles. The Russian studio Eloquence Studio announced that they have released a fan-made voiceover for the title. Currently, PC users can download a test version.

Enthusiasts reported that they translated and voiced the main storyline of the game. They managed to voice all quests and possible branches of gameplay up to the meeting of the main character Skif with the military Korshunov and the scientist Dalin at Terrikon. Additionally, the specialists voiced most of the non-playable characters (NPCs) in Zalesye, at the Chemical Plant and the Dump in Russian.

The protagonist Skif was voiced by actor Konstantin Makovkin, Strelok by an enthusiast under the nickname Will Everek, and Colonel Korshunov by Ivan Isaenko. A total of 80 actors and dubbing specialists participated in the localization of the game. The public release of the fan voiceover will be available by the end of October.

It is worth noting that in all previous games of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, the Russian language was the primary one. However, in the new game, it only appeared in text form.

At the end of September, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World received a major update. The game added a night vision device (NVD), the anomaly "Fireball," new weapons, and other content.
