Scientists have published a photo of black holes rotating around each other. The image is available on the University of Turku's website.
"For the first time, astronomers have managed to obtain a radio image of two black holes rotating around each other. This observation confirmed the existence of pairs of black holes. Previously, astronomers were only able to obtain images of individual black holes," the publication states.
According to specialists, this concerns the center of the quasar OJ287, which was discovered back in the 19th century.
