Humans Lived on the Moon: A New Theory Challenges Official Science

The scientific community is once again discussing a bold hypothesis that challenges established views on the history of humanity.

American geologist and writer Gregg Braden stated that about 50,000 years ago, a developed human civilization may have existed on the Moon, the traces of which, in his opinion, will be discovered during upcoming missions by China and India, writes Dailymail.co.

Braden claims that images from NASA's "Clementine" mission allegedly show structures with clear right angles that could not have formed naturally. He draws parallels between these lunar objects and known anomalies on Mars - the "Face" and pyramidal shapes in the Cydonia region, considering them remnants of the same ancient civilization. According to him, this data may have been hidden since the Cold War, and new space powers broadcasting missions live will no longer allow the "truth to be concealed."

According to the researcher, the lunar civilization was a colony of Earthlings who reached a high level of development but subsequently destroyed themselves in a war. The remains of buildings, Braden claims, may contain inscriptions understandable to modern people.

However, most scientists call these statements speculation. Modern orbital spacecraft, including NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, have studied the Moon's surface with record accuracy but found no signs of artificial structures or inscriptions. Analysis of lunar soil has also revealed no artifacts or signs of biological activity.

As for the Martian "anomalies," later high-resolution images showed that the "Face on Mars" is an ordinary hill, and the effect of a human face arose from the play of light and shadow. Such optical illusions are called pareidolia and are well-known in perception psychology.

The scientific community notes that hypotheses about ancient civilizations on other celestial bodies are often based on a combination of real scientific data with conjecture and popular myths. Despite the spectacle of such ideas, they are not supported by empirical evidence and remain in the realm of fiction.
