The next season of the basketball Euroleague will again be held without Russian clubs. This was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, citing the tournament's general director, Chus Bueno.

"We need to protect the lives of players, fans, and everyone involved. We are monitoring the situation with the teams participating in our leagues, as well as with the teams that have been suspended. There are no changes for now," said the official.

Bueno also clarified the league's position regarding the participation of teams from Israel and the Dubai club. He stated that until the end of the regular season, they will play home matches away, and this measure may then be extended to playoff games.

Russian basketball clubs have been suspended from participating in the Euroleague since March 2022. The women's and men's national teams are also not participating in international competitions.
