The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has recognized Manchester City's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as the best goalkeeper in the world for 2025.
The Italian goalkeeper scored 169 points, confidently surpassing Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois (65 points) and Switzerland's Yann Sommer (59) in the voting results.
The top five also included Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), who scored 50 points, and David Raya from London’s Arsenal, who had 40 points.
The voting is conducted by the IFFHS editorial team and experts from different continents.
