Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs will participate in the conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in Gdańsk and in the summit of leaders of Eastern flank countries today and tomorrow, June 25, as reported to the LETA agency by the press secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers, Laura Krastiņa.
This year, the conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine is organized by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. During the conference, Kulbergs has scheduled meetings with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine and representatives of Latvian companies involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The aim of the conference is to support the reconstruction of Ukraine despite the ongoing Russian aggression. The Prime Minister of Ukraine and heads of other states and governments will participate in the conference.
During his visit, Kulbergs also plans to visit Gdynia, including the naval base.
During Kulbergs' absence, the duties of the Prime Minister will be performed by the Minister of Justice, Edvards Smiltenš.
