Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a conversation with graduates of military educational institutions, spoke about where drones are flying into Russia from.

  • European countries have not yet reached the point of launching anything towards Russia from their territory; they understand that there will be a retaliatory strike,” said Putin.

It should be noted that the leadership of Latvia has repeatedly stated its non-involvement in the launches of drones targeting the Russian Federation. As reported by bb.lv, President Edgars Rinkēvičs stated a month ago that “the Baltic countries have never allowed their territory or airspace to be used for drone attacks on targets within Russia.”

The statement of non-involvement came after the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported that “previously, drones flew into Russia through the skies of the Baltic states, and now drones are planned to be launched directly from the territory of these countries to reduce flight time and increase the effectiveness of strikes.”

It was claimed that Ukrainian UAV operators had already arrived in Latvia.

Moscow threatened Latvia with a retaliatory strike: “The coordinates of decision-making centers in Latvia are known, and the country’s NATO membership will not protect the accomplices of terrorists from just retribution.”
