Since January 1, 2026, 91,777 foreign citizens from 38 countries included in the visa-free list have arrived in Belarus. Most travelers came from Belarus's neighboring countries – Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland. This data was provided by the State Border Committee.
Since April 15, 2022, a total of 1,349,946 residents of Europe have visited Belarus. From Latvia, 430,947 foreigners arrived, from Lithuania – 696,269, and from Poland – 149,648. Under the extended visa-free regime for 35 European countries, 73,082 people entered Belarus from July 19, 2024.
It is worth noting that the visa-free entry regime to Belarus for citizens of Lithuania, Latvia, and individuals with non-citizen status in Latvia was introduced on April 15, 2022, and for Polish citizens – on July 1, 2022. Initially, the visa-free regime was set to last until December 31, 2022, but this period was extended by a special decree first until December 31, 2023, and then for the entire year of 2024. From July 19, 2024, an "extended visa-free" regime was introduced for citizens of 35 European countries. It has been extended until December 31, 2026.
