On why more and more voters support the party "Suverēnā vara".

The party, or rather the political union Suverēnā vara/Jaunlatvieši, is demonstrating a remarkable rise in popularity. The first success for this political force came exactly a year ago during the local government elections. Suverēnā vara not only managed to maintain its positions but also to strengthen them. Let us remind you: according to the latest SKDS survey, if elections to the Saeima were to take place in May, Suverēnā vara would have the support of...

At the same time, the election campaign has not yet begun, which means that SV still has prospects for growth. What is the reason (or reasons) for the rise in popularity of this political force?

"You know, I joined the Suverēnā vara team when the party was just getting on its feet and its rating did not exceed 2.5%," said Suverēnā vara activist Leonty Moroz in an interview with bb.lv. "But I understood, I felt that people would follow this political force. Why? There are two main reasons. First, the party does not change its position, it does not betray its principles. This is very important to me! I think, like most voters, I am tired of parties and politicians who change their positions faster than we can understand what a particular party stands for! In this sense, Suverēnā vara’s voters can be calm - it has not betrayed and will not betray its voters.

It is no coincidence that surveys show that Suverēnā vara voters are the most satisfied with their choice.

And the second reason is that the party does what it promised its voters. Even while in opposition in the Riga City Council, SV deputies, as I believe your readers remember well, achieved a lot. In particular, it was SV that gathered signatures against tree felling and against the construction of a crematorium...

But all this is at the municipal level. To change the situation in the whole country, it is necessary to be represented in the Saeima. And our Suverēnā vara team is going into the elections with a clear position and a clear program. For me and my family, it is very important that Suverēnā vara takes a clear stance in geopolitics - the party has stated from the first day of the war that the key to peace lies through negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. There is no other option to stop this bloodshed!

SV also consistently defends the rights of all residents of Latvia, the rights of the Russian-speaking population!

If we talk about me, as a representative of small business, it is very important for me that the state creates a simple and clear tax policy. I have long advocated for the so-called single patent - an individual entrepreneur, as a natural person, pays 10% on turnover. It is simple, convenient, and I am convinced that such a system will only increase revenues to the treasury!

Another of my initiatives is that in the first three months after starting work, the employer (this concerns small businesses) is exempt from paying minimum social contributions.

I am absolutely convinced that voters who support Suverēnā vara will not be disappointed in their choice, as we will continue to act consistently and honestly.

We see that today, politicians who have seized power are engaged in dividing society, pushing the language of a third of the population out of all areas of life. At the same time, they cover themselves with concern for the state language. In reality, they do everything to make a significant part of society feel marginalized. And this has nothing to do with the protection of the state language. Moreover, I, for example, do not know of any area where the Latvian language is not protected. Except perhaps where citizens of third countries are employed! So this migration issue is what politicians should be addressing, rather than poisoning the lives of their own residents! This is the position that Suverēnā vara adheres to!"
