The most reasonable solution is to include the United List (OS), National Alliance, Union of Greens and Farmers (SZK), and 'New Unity' in the new coalition, stated National Alliance representative Ilze Indrikson in an interview on the '900 Seconds' program on TV3.
She emphasized that it is important for the new coalition to avoid ideological contradictions among partners. Although the National Alliance would agree to have the 'Progressives' support the future government, the party will not support their participation in the coalition.
Indrikson reminded that the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Defense, led by the 'Progressives', have often been criticized, from which conclusions should be drawn.
At the same time, SZK representative Viktor Valainis believes that negotiations on forming the coalition should be as broad as possible, with the distribution of responsibilities among all partners. However, whether the candidate for Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (OS) can form a government largely depends on 'New Unity' as the largest faction in the Saeima.
