Will Two Scandals Eclipse the Third? The Ruling Coalition Can No Longer Keep Up with the Strikes of Fate 0

And there are still more than four months until the elections - there is more to come!

Since Sunday, as is known, the entire ruling coalition has been "on edge" due to the story of the dismissal (resignation) of the Minister of Defense - the disgruntled "progressives" are demanding satisfaction, escalating the situation, and tomorrow they are calling Evika Silina to account. But before the "progressives" could recover from the Prime Minister's "stunt," a new calamity struck - the State Audit Office has determined that the Ministry of Communications is not following the government, but rather... the builders, and in the implementation of the Rail Baltic project, they are being led by the builders! In this regard, the Prime Minister today reprimanded the leadership of the Ministry of Communications at the government meeting, that is, the same "progressives."

However, the "green farmers" who find themselves "above the fray" cannot feel "safe" either, as the State Audit Office has come to extremely unflattering conclusions regarding state support for private woodworking companies. Although the findings of the audit have not yet been disclosed, it is already known that yesterday the Ministry of Agriculture appealed the report to the State Auditor. If the claims are rejected, which is likely, then on Monday the report will be declassified and... the "progressives" may demand the resignation of the Minister of Agriculture Armands Krauze (Union of Greens and Farmers).

The attempt to overshadow one scandal with another already resembles putting out a fire with gasoline. The question from political scientists about whether the Silina government is still functioning seems unnecessary: when do the ministers have time to work when they are barely managing to fend off scandals!
