The mayor of Ogre continues to "attack" the ruling party.
The mayor of Ogre from the National Alliance, Egils Helmanis, has unleashed another angry comment on social media regarding the events happening in the country.
"Unfortunately, public media has long ceased to reflect accurate events both in our country and in the world. Trump wants to take control of Greenland, and a proposal to withdraw from NATO has been submitted to the French parliament. The Canadian government is visiting China. A year ago, I wrote that it was time to start thinking about a unified European army. We should take a cue from the Finns and how ready they are to defend their country.
"New Unity" and "Progressives" have done nothing to strengthen the country's defense in these 4 years. Rinkēvičs, in order to become president, handed over the post of Minister of Defense to the most unsuitable candidate, Sprūds. This is what happens when our small needs take precedence over state ones...
"New Unity" can no longer be trusted to govern the country. As the mayor of Ogre County, I raised the issue in the country about the possibilities of acquiring bulletproof helmets and vests. For 4 years we have not been able to do this because the government did not allow it. We still do not have an internet application in the country that shows drones entering the territory. Training in drone management is still not centralized, coordinated with the Ministry of Education," the nationalist laments.
