The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) will ask the government for permission to redistribute 7,252,119 euros to cover payments for six rescue and chemical vehicles, as well as other equipment, LETA reports.
Final payments for six rescue and chemical vehicles, as well as for a containerized pump and pressure pipe system totaling 7,252,119 euros, which were originally planned for 2025, must be made in the first quarter of 2026 in accordance with the terms of the contracts concluded.
Redistribution is necessary as the delivery date for the rescue and chemical vehicles according to the contracts is set for February 2026, and for the containerized pump and pressure pipe system, it is set for January 2026.
