Jūrmala Mayor Gatis Truksnis (Latvian Green Party) did not obtain clearance to work with state secrets. The mayor announced this at a Jūrmala City Council meeting on Thursday.
In this regard, Truksnis resigned, although he considers the decision of the Security Police unlawful.
