As already reported by LA.LV, in the run-up to the Ligo holiday, residents of Latvia are increasingly discussing on social media the festive decorations installed in various cities. While in Adazi their gray and gloomy appearance raises confusion, in Madona, the focus has been on an object that left many wide-eyed in surprise.

In one of the festive decorations, residents saw a striking resemblance to the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

A social media user named Gunita posted a photo of the holiday decorations in Madona, accompanying it with a short comment:

"Madona has outdone everyone..."

The photo shows two large dolls — a woman and a man holding hands. However, it was the male figure that caught the attention of internet users.

In the comments, messages appeared where people pointed out its external resemblance to Putin.

One user on X wrote:

"Sorry, but I never understood why we should clutter up a beautiful environment with such eyesores."

For some, this doll evoked associations with a garden scarecrow.

It is known that these decorations are located near the cultural center.

Do you also see a resemblance to Putin in the festive decoration? Or have the imaginations of internet users gone too far this time?
